YOUTH AND GOVERNMENT

9th-12th Grade

Youth & Government objective is to engage teens and offer space that allow for discussion on what they want their communities and neighborhoods to look like. This program educates teens on the processes of government, committee work and other areas that are related. By bringing people together to strengthen the community through youth and teen advocates and by connecting teens to actual local government officials.

Meeting Details

  • Meeting Days: Wednesdays
  • Meeting Times: 6:00PM
  • Meeting Location: YMCA Teen Center - 3875 S Neece St

Cost

  • Financial Assistance is available to all, and fundraisers will be held to reduce costs.
  • $825 for the entire program including transportation, hotels, and program fees.
  • $100 due at registration, the next payments are due before the conferences (But can be reduced or eliminated by financial aid).
