The event has allowed us to continue our programs and services for the many children and families that need our services. It has also allowed us to maintain and improve our facilities to provide a safe and healthy environment for the children in our care.
The Y collaborates with Luna Modern Mexican Kitchen for night of cultivated flavorful dining experience. A Night at Luna’s provides community networking along with opportunity drawings. Luna Modern Mexican Kitchen has an impeccable reputation and a Five Star Award by the Southern California Restaurant Writes Association for 2012, 2013 and 2014. This event helps fund Sponsorship opportunities available.
Funds raised helps the Y with instructions supplies for all program sites.
The Y gives these awards annually to individuals who, over time, have shown exceptional devotion to voluntary community action within the Y service areas. The Distinguished Service Awards are named in the memory of Ira “Cal” D. Calvert to commemorate his outstanding philanthropic accomplishments, to recognize his fine example and encourage others to serve their community.
Funds from this event help capital improvement projects for all 12 locations we serve.
