Don Garling passed away on Saturday evening, August 29, very peacefully 💝.
Don was very involved in numerous organizations and charities. He took his board responsibilities very seriously. Don was on the Corona-Norco Family YMCA (C-N YMCA) Board Member and he felt compelled to help this nonprofit because their mission is to help out disadvantaged children and their families.
The C-N YMCA is a nonprofit. It accomplishes so much each year, and Don witnessed the stellar educational and other programs. These programs build character, life lessons into future generations. The Y is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Tax ID #95-2879893.

About Don Garling:
Don served on the CORONA Chamber Board of Directors, and he was my Chairman of the Board in 2017. Creating a theme that truly identifies him, Journey of a Lifetime.
He was a leader, a mentor and dear friend. Always looking for the best in a person. A man’s man. An example for others.
So many beautiful memories. I will always treasure our friendship. Don’s year of service as Chair, we presented to him the opportunity to place a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington VA National Cemetery. This would be done during our Chamber’s annual Advocacy and Legislative DC Summit.
The night prior, Don and Sally insisted that I join him in this honor…truly a memorable honor part of our Journey of a Lifetime.
God has another Angel 👼 for sure.
