At
the Y, building a strong global community begins
at home. Ys in the U.S. help young people develop
cultural competencies, diverse populations connect
to the community and individuals around the world
gain access to life-changing resources and support.
Starting
in September for six months, more that 2,300 teenagers
throughout California learn first-hand how out
state government works; not by watching, but by doing.
High School Students are chosen from Corona and
Norco
schools to participate in the California Model
Legislature and Court. They participate in two camps,
which prepare
them to travel to Sacramento and debate amongst
youth from 150 communities from across the State.
Fees
are based on participation.
