Off site childcare location offers care for children Kinder – 6th
Grade
Families must meet income eligibility guidelines and have
a need for childcare. Breakfast, Lunch and PM Snack provided.
Morning and Afternoon transportation
provided from the following schools: Adams, McKinley, Garretson, Stallings,
and Home Gardens Elementary Schools.
Must meet eligibility requirements - program fees are based on a sliding scale.

YMCA Youth Center at City Park – 475 E. Grand Ave
Off site State Preschool for 3
and 4 year olds (priority given to 4 year olds) Three sessions
offered daily each session is 3 hours (7:30-10:30am/11:30am-2:30pm/3:00-6:00pm)
Full Day Preschool
Must meet eligibility requirements - program fees are based
on a sliding scale

YMCA Teen Center at Home Gardens
Off site programming specifically for teens (middle school
and high school age) Structured programs such as Youth
and Government; Model United Nations, Day Camps,
Y Clubs, Y University, etc.
We will also offer drop in recreation program for both ages.

YMCA Youth Center at Harada Elementary School (Opening late
2008)
Off site childcare location offers care for children Kinder – 6th Grade
Transportation to and from Clara Barton, Harada, Rosa Parks, Sierra Vista
and Riverview Elementary
schools.

Women’s Improvement Club
Program offers aerobic classes on Monday (1:00 – 2:00) and Thursday (9:30 – 10:30)
Program is open to entire community
Program is free of charge

Corona De Oro - 680 W. Second Street, This is
an after school program designed to help the children that
reside in the Hope Though Housing project. Children will
receive an after school snack, homework assistance, tutoring,
participate in organized activities and have access to
computer usage. This program is free of charge.
